Did you break/lose your device and worried about missing out on valuable learning now that Westlake has gone BYOD? The beneficial laptop loaning system the library has set up can help you get back on track with your ICT learning. Just follow these simple steps to benefit from this system:
- Ask any librarian to issue out a laptop. You will be provided with a charger, carry bag and even a laptop case for your convenience.
- Use your ID card to issue out the laptop as you would do with a book.
- Don’t forget to return the laptop by the end of the day.
Please keep in mind that laptops can only be issued for a valid reason, for example, loss or damage to your device. If you issue a laptop even if you don’t particularly require it, there could be other students in need of a laptop who miss out.
