 Wifi Troubleshooting

Connect all your devices to the school's wifi network: WGHS_BYOD
Username: Student ID# such as 23456
​Password: (the exact password you received from your teacher)

If you have trouble with wifi, try these tips:
  • Restart your machine
  • Turn your wifi off and back on again
  • Make sure you are connecting to WGHS_BYOD network
  • Forget the BYOD network, and re-join the BYOD network
  • If it asks for detailed settings, enter these as needed
EAP method :                           PEAP
Phase 2 authentication:        automatic (or MSCHAPv2)
Server CA certificate:              do not check
User certificate:                       none installed
  • Make sure you are entering the correct password (ask your teacher to show it on KAMAR)
  • Make sure you are typing the symbol correctly, using the CapsLock key to type ~ ! @ # $ ? & *
  • Disconnect from any VPNs you may be using
  • Try going to a Google page and refreshing it until the school firewall page pops up
  • Try asking a classmate with a similar device for help
  • Once you have tried all of the above, you can try the New Era Technician (Joel) whose office is at the end of B Block, under the covered walkway.
